Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Pre-Budget Submission 2022

The IACP Needs Your Help to Ask the Government to Acknowledge Counselling and Psychotherapy in Budget 2022

Step One Select your constituency

The IACP seeks tax relief to be fully extended to counselling and psychotherapy, as a qualifying health expense, in Budget 2022, and the application of VAT exemption, now rated at 13.5% on earnings over €37,500 for counsellors and psychotherapists from 2022. We believe these measures will broaden the access to Counselling and Psychotherapy and bring our members' tax status in line with other allied health professionals.

We're seeking the help of our Members to ensure that Counselling and Psychotherapy are represented in Budget 2022.
